Satellite Intra-Connectivity- MoCIT
From the 1980s to almost 1998, Afghan nationals struggled to make or exchange local voice traffic inside the country between major cities like Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Mazar Sharif, and Jalal Abad. These significant cities had a fragile copper cable infrastructure decades old in place, but with no intra-connectivity in between them, the calls were mostly local within that specific city. For international calls- Afghans were mostly relying on neighboring countries, like Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Tajikistan. With the cost of travel on one side and the lack of road infrastructure on another side, Afghanistan remained the most isolated community for centuries.
Kabul to Pakistan Border (Torkham) Microwave Backhaul Link
Insta Telecom LTD established the first connectivity of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Microwave network in the early 2000s when the fiber network was yet to be developed- this link supported 1000’s of Afghans, and national and international businesses to have access to internet connectivity. After the fiber cable connectivity, the link remained active for many years as a backup solution in case there’s a fiber cut or disturbances.
Wireless ISP Service
Insta Telecom LTD, from its establishment, pioneered technological solutions to help Afghans have access to a reliable internet connection for their businesses and homes- with that in mind, we established wireless ISP services in major cities as soon as 2003. With which 1000’s local businesses and houses were able to have basic services and connectivity, and to pursue their day-to-day works more efficiently and effectivity.
Dial up Networks
In the early 2,000s- Insta Telecom pioneered the dialup services through the Afghan Telecom Corporation copper network- 1000’s Afghans were able to have basic internet connectivity at their home and office comfort at very affordable costs- starting 1-10 USD.
DSL/ADSL/VDSL Network
Insta Telecom LTD- as of today from early 2006 has supported the partnership with Afghan Telecom Corporation on DSL/ADSL/VDSL Network in Afghanistan. Today, the services are available to 100K+ household and business customers. With its affordability and cost-efficiency, ADSL services are one of the most favorable options for many subscribers.
Insta-Cable Wireless Cable TV Network
Insta Cable- is a wireless cable TV network currently active in south Afghanistan- Kandahar city and one of its kind. Wireless cable TV solutions- enabled 1000’s Kandahar residents to have direct access to quality content within 50Km of the radius with LOS availability. This eliminates the physical line connectivity requirement from most- in a city with a lack of fiber optic infrastructure which is costly to build or maintain. Today, 100’s quality TV channels of HD and SD quality are offered to Kandahar residents.
MWR CAFE DIA Services
Insta Telecom LTD supported U.S. Army in Afghanistan during their presence from 2019-to 2021 in partnership with GBI and Trace Systems by providing DIA services. This partnership helps U.S. Service men and women have access to the internet in 20+ Army bases across the country- from south to east, and north to west in the most volatile and insecure provinces.
STM-16 IPLC Circuit- From Bagram/Kapisa Afghanistan to Germany
In this project in partnership with the GTT company, we supported the DoD requirement of STM-16 IPLC capacity from the Bagram base to Germany. This collaboration happened from 2020-to 2021.
STM-16 (2.5Gb) DPLC Circuit from Kabul to Kapisa (Bagram Airbase)
Insta Telecom LTD, with GTT, delivered this service requirement with all RFC testing requirements of DITCO/DOD to the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.
MLOS End-to-End connectivity- 300Mbps
In partnership with GTT, Insta Telecom LTD delivered this contract and fulfilled all RFC test requirements for DITCO/DOD in Kabul-Afghanistan between Camp HKIA, NKC, and Morehead.
